  1. You’re not growing professionally: If there’s one thing our jobs should do, it’s advance us in our fields. We should be able to effortlessly name the new skills we learnt from every job we’ve ever had. If you have a hard time mentioning how your current job has advanced your professional career, then you need to seriously consider a new job. If you get the feeling that you’re adding a lot of value to your company and getting too little in return, you need to quit your job and find one that adds more significantly to you.

If your salary barely pays the bills and you’re constantly worried about money, then you need to find a job that pays better. The value you give at work should be matched by the stipend you receive and if it doesn’t measure up, you need to quit your job and find a better-paying job.
  3. Your company isn’t investing in you: If your company doesn’t seem concerned about your growth, you could be working at the wrong job. Apart from paying you properly, your company should aim to engage employees to make them more passionate about their work and feel more dedicated to the company.
